Strengthening Healthcare, Empowering Communities
Northwest HealthConnect Regional Sector Partnership, launched on March 31st, 2022, is a pioneering effort uniting over 30 leading healthcare employers. The RSP collaborates with organizations in education, workforce development, economic development and the broader community to address workforce and other competitive needs within NW Connecticut's healthcare industry.
With a collective aim of promoting sector growth and enhancing the industry, this partnership provides a unique, industry-led, and community-supported focus on improving healthcare for everyone.

Improving access to good jobs and increasing job quality in ways that strengthen the health industry’s workforce
Expanding and enhancing local educational programs

Educators, Students and Families: Get Involved
Northwest HealthConnect plans to continue building a speakers' bureau to engage students and families in choosing healthcare careers, host a virtual reality Career Expo to provide interactive healthcare training, develop an internship program for high school students to gain experience in healthcare roles, and so much more.
